Grey Rock Estates is the vision of a local family. The 100 acre development itself holds much history in the area. Orginally, the land was part of the Cambell Estate which still consists more than 1,000 acres. The Cambell family sold the land to Mr. Caldwell after his land was placed in the Great Smoky Mountain Park Service which today is known as the Cataloochee Valley.
